Patrick Hannon (M.A.Sc, P.Eng) founded MineTech in 1989. He has provided clients with services including acting as expert witness, medium-term mine management, assistance in drafting mining regulations, and writing mine valuation reports.

Patrick is a Qualified Person for base metals, precious metals, industrial minerals, and coal.

Doug Roy (M.A.Sc, P.Eng) joined MineTech in 1997 after graduating from TUNS with a Bachelors of Engineering in mining. He received his Masters of Applied Science from DalTech (now the Dalhousie Department of Engineering) in Geostatistical Resource Estimation. His duties include mine planning, design, optimization, and evaluation.

Doug is a Qualified Person for base metals, precious metals and industrial minerals.

Edward Thornton (B.Sc, P.Eng.), works part-time for MineTech as metallurgical engineer. He has had several decades of influential mineral processing experience in the areas of design, operations, and research. He leads MineTech's mineral processing research projects.

Dr. Steve Zou (Ph.D, P.Eng.), an Associate at MineTech, has over 20 years of professional experience in surface and underground mining. He has comprehensive knowledge in the fields of rock mechanics and ground stability control, with expertise in tailings disposal and mine backfill. He provided services to Kidd Creek Mine, Placer Dome, Pioneer Coal, CBDC Phalen Mine, the former CBCRL, and other companies in Canada and China. Dr. Zou is a professor at Dalhousie University.

Deven West (B.Sc.), an Associate with MineTech, has over 30 years of professional experience in surface and underground exploration. He has designed and implemented mineral exploration programs for base metals, precious metals and industrial minerals, primarily in Alaska and West Africa. He has assisted in the discovery of four producing mines in Ghana and Alaska.
