MineTech International Limited is a consulting company focused on mining engineering and geology, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Patrick Hannon, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., founded MineTech in 1989, working as the sole employee. In 1998, Doug Roy, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., became the second permanent employee. These full-time professional staff are joined by a number of associated professional engineers and geologists.
For over 20 years, MineTech has provided a range of services to the mining industry. Clients have included government, junior and senior mining companies, and other consulting companies. Jobs performed have included NI 43-101 reports, permitting for new and existing operations, as well as mineral exploration, mine design, and mine management.
MineTech staff can act as Qualified Persons under NI 43-101 in the estimation of precious metals, base metals and industrial minerals deposits, and our independent reports have been accepted by Canadian and other stock exchange and securities commissions. Our reports are provided on a fee-for-service basis.
