Operations Support

Staffing and management for exploration and operation stage companies.

Temporary Personnel

MineTech staff and associates can work on a temporary basis for projects in all stages of their lifecycle. Posts filled include student technical staff, professional geologists and mining engineers, mine managers and project managers.

In the first half of 2013, MineTech provided engineering support to an operating open-pit gold mine in eastern Canada. Support included review of existing operating procedures, and day-to-day engineering, including assistance with blast design.

Mineral Exploration Design and Management

MineTech staff can design and provide on-going support for exploration programs targeting a variety of minerals. Exploration programs using diamond drilling, ground and air geophysics, geochemistry, and other techniques are designed based on client objectives and project characteristics.

In 2010, MineTech completed a four-month contract to oversee an exploration program at a past-producing gold property near Flin Flon, Manitoba. The project involves sighting and logging drill holes, designing access roads, and liaising with government officials.
